Welcome to Beauclair Books, a newly established small press dedicated to the idea expressed in the old saying:

Laugh, and the world laughs with you.
Weep, and you weep alone.

Merely leafing through the pages of the daily paper (or putting in a call to any customer service "helpline") can really get you down about life.  Ranting about it is one option.  But a good chuckle has the power to rekindle feelings of wellbeing, optimism and affection for our imperfect selves.

That is the aim of our books.  We hope you enjoy them.
